I love getting my make-up done. I’ve all the products and tools myself but my technique just isn’t as good as the professionals. I was going to a wedding the day I went into Pink so it was perfect timing for some pampering ahead of a long day. Orla was looking after me on the day and asked what kind of make-up I’d like. I told her good coverage because of my broken capillaries and whatever she wanted to do on my eyes. I more or less gave her free rein to do what she wanted, a make-up artist’s dream I’m sure! I was wearing a black dress to the wedding so Orla put slate greys and blacks on my eyes to create a smokey look, but not too much for daytime. She used a variety of brands, including Make Up For Ever, MAC and Art Deco, and used some camouflage make-up on my areas of concern to ensure the make-up lasted the whole day. The make-up felt really light on my skin, not heavy or caked, and the look was very natural, with the smokey eyes making my eye colour really pop. It lasted all day… and night!
