Usually buttery lemon colours or bright canary hues are associated with balmy, breezy days but for autumn yellows of every shade are having a moment. Head-to-toe tonal or clashing, it should be excessive, tactile and lick-able. Topshop Unique sent models down the runway in layers of this sunshine hue, printed skirts in sorbet colours, rich embroidered sweaters and fluffy fur stoles… So it’s less pretty little picture and more grown-up sophisticated.
