MTV Music Awards: Best Dressed
UFashion takes a look at the best of the best oufits as seen at last Sunday’s MTV music awards.
As always, the MTV European Music Awards was a hub of style last Sunday. Of course it’s no Met Gala or Golden Globes awards, but celebs really do pull out their very best attire for this night! We absolutely love screening through the styles at the MTV awards because it’s always that little bit more edgy and daring than other awards ceremonies.
And this year was no exception. With Ms Nicki Minaj and her bootay hosting the event, the celebs flocked to Glasgow in their finest glad rags for us to gawk at. And oh did we enjoy the gawking!
UFashion.ie, after much deliberation have singled out who would win the MTV awards if MTV stood for ‘My! That’s Victorious!’. (V is a surprisingly hard letter to find a suitable word for, but you catch our drift)
And with a little help from us UFashion ladies, you too can be stepping out like your favorite fashionable attendee!
First up is the ever-so-beautiful and IRISH Laura Whitmore. We may be a little bias due to her feckin’ brilliant nationality but Whitmore gives those LA and London gals a run for their money in this getup. Keeping it simple can be a bit risque for an event like this, but with clever styling with her accessories and flawless hair and makeup, Laura is pulling that look off!
Bibi Zhou is next on our ‘lusting after’ list. We absolutely love this red kimono she’s rocking. The dress itself is so out-there that it doesn’t even need any accessories. Her simple hair and makeup is allowing the dress to be the center of attention in this look, which it very well should be!

The adorable Ariana Grande is up next. The 21-year-old has really upped her game in the style stakes over the last few months and Sunday night was no exception. We are in love with this black cut-out dress she wore and cannot wait to get our hands on the UFashion.ie version. Now to figure out what we can wear it to!

Winter White is always up there on our must-do list but sometimes sporting the all-white look in winter can be a bit nerving. Of course, model Jourdan Dunn has no issues with this and rocks a navel-grazing white mini-dress with white stilettos. We absolutely love this look but if navel-baring isn’t for you, try a semi-sheer cut-out dress instead. We heart!
