The Style Factor

It’s Friday! And that can only mean one thing here in UFashion.ie, The Style Factor is here!

All week we’ve been thinking about who we are going to name Style Factor Queen number two. Last week, we looked at Diana Vicker’s messy hair and edgy punk look but this week, we’ve gone and picked out something entirely different. Clean cuts, sharp angles and the elegant style of Alexandra Burke has caught our fancy this week.

2008 X Factor winner Alexandra was always someone that we had a bit of a style crush on. She was never one to be playing it safe on or off stage during her XFactor months. Alexandra showed the other ladies of 2008 how it was done with cutting-edge dresses, sleek hair and sequins sequins sequins (have we mentioned we love sequins here in UFashion?)

Yes yes, we know what your thinking- ehh stylists obviously? And that made be true, but Burke has shown that she is still at the top of the style game after finishing up with The X Factor.

UFashion.ie have had a good ‘ol gawk at her best looks over the last few years and have come to the conclusion that she is definitely a Style Factor contestant in our eyes.

We love that Burke can be the epitome of ladylike at times and then show us her edgier side by toughening up a pretty dress with a leather jacket. We like to think that we too are the perfect embodiment of ladylike meets rock (or we wish that…).
