Festivals, weddings, dates and work- Folk style is your best new style friend this season.

With Coachella kicking festival season off (in style. obvs.), we have been keeping an eye on one trend that is present in the outfits of most A-listers in attendance. They may not be sporting full head-to-toe folksy style but all of them have a hint of this enviable trend that is going to be HUGE this season.

Don’t believe us? Check out all the runway shows for S/S ’15. Laced dresses, folk print and loose, casual pants could be seen across the runway at some of the biggest shows last year. Not forgetting some mix-matched prints, fabrics and stitching to complete the eclectic style of the folk look.

Pretty frills, off-the -shoulder neck-lines and some serious bling are some of the key characteristics of folk style and something you should be looking out for while your on the prowl for some essential spring/summer buys.

And if you’re looking for something a little bit more subtle, try out a printed blouse for a quick injection of folk into your work-wear.

Here in UFashion.ie, we can see ourselves rocking this simple, comfortable yet oh-so-stylish look during the summer months to just about any occasion. We’ve compiled a list of the top 10 pieces available on site now to have you looking exactly like Kendall Jenner at Coachella this year.

Sienna Miller and Kate Bosworth are the original folk-inspired style queens but now that this look is back in the style lists, we can imagine there’s about to be a bit of an influx of the trend this year.

And we for one, are definitely hopping on that band wagon (a la folk-style indeed).
