6 things to do this weekend
Just because Storm Abigail isn’t slowing down this weekend, it doesn’t mean you should!
It’s always a bit of a bummer when after a tough week in work, it gets to Friday – a day that should be full of joy, excitement and blossoming with wondrous ideas for the weekend – and the weather is just shite.
There goes the lovely hill walk you had planned for sunday, there goes road trippin’ down the country (if there’s anything we’re learning from the recent weather reports it’s to steer clear of the west) and there goes dog walking along the beach followed by an indoor/outdoor lunch.
Well shiver me timbers, it’s much took cold, wet and windy to engage in any of those activities! But that doesn’t mean you should abandon all hope for the weekend ahead.
Here in U Towers, we decided that Storm Abby, or whatever she’s called, shouldn’t affect anyones weekend and we’ve compiled a list of all the wonderful things you could do this weekend if she doesn’t back off.
Check it out!

Le Boom at Whelans (tonight)
Straight from work to Pyg and then head on to Whelans for a deadly gig at 8p.m. Who doesn’t love after-work drinks turning into a filthy, drunken session? Whooooo
