I have never had sex but I have multiple bubble-like bumps on my inner labia and it’s really starting to worry me. What do you think it is?
This could be due to a number of reasons. As you have never been sexually active, it rules out things like sexually transmitted infections such as genital warts and herpes simplex virus infection. You do not specify whether these are painless or painful bumps. If they are painful, it could be a number of things. For example, it could be due to shingles caused by the Herpes Zoster Virus, which causes chicken pox in children but can return in adulthood as shingles and affect any part of the body. However, if the bumps are painless, it may be that they are normal tissue and are due to the sebaceous glands present in this area. Other causes for the bumps on yoru labia include psoriasis and eczema. As you can appreciate, there are many possible causes, and if they are causing you symptoms or worry, then a visit to and examination by your local doctor can reassure you and put your mind at ease.
