It was fun when it lasted…
It was all fun and games last week, endless days off just rolling into the next one with not much to do other than take it handy. But it’s almost time to get back to the grind. If your Sunday scaries are out of control don’t worry – we’re here to tell you why it’s actually a good thing.
Too long cooped up inside would make even the sanest of us go a little stir crazy. We’ve cleaned, we’ve baked, we’ve had our fill of Instagram, we’re just plain bored of it all at this stage. So bored we’d prefer to be working? Em we actually so think so.
We don’t know about you but something about the cold weather and being stuck inside with nothing to do has made us snack monsters. There’s no way on earth we could be hungry, and yet all we do is eat. Take going back to work a sign to kick the Pringles habit.
Sure we’ve all been up to nothing but it’s still nice to catch up with your colleagues and fill them in on the goss. At the very least you can tell them about the the Netflix series you’ve been watching.
Some routine is actually a good thing. There’s nothing like moping around in your pyjamas for days on end to make you appreciate your 7am alarm clock. Nothing to do sounds great in theory but it gets old pretty quick. We’re looking forward to some meal prep, gym time, and set hours. WHO ARE WE??
You actually have to do some work
We kind of forgot along the way that we still have a job to do, and we’re actually falling way behind. Not to be total dweebs about it but someone has to do it, and that someone is you. Head in refreshed, with a clear head and ready to tackle the day. You got this 😉
