It’s baaack! My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 hits cinemas nationwide from March 25th and we don’t know about you, but we’re pretty excited about the latest instalment of this rom-com classic. If you’re a fan of the first one and have been dying to find out what happened to Toula, Ian and the rest of the Portokalos gang, well you’re in for a treat. We we’re lucky enough to get a sneaky preview of the movie recently and it doesn’t disappoint. There is no shortage of hairspray and Gus is still as patriotic as ever. Here are five reasons why we can’t wait for it to be released…
1. The cast
In case you were worried that some of your old favourites wouldn’t be returning for the sequel, you were wrong, because they have – and are better than ever! Toula and Ian are finding their feet in the tricky world of teenager-raising, Gus wants their now 17-year old daughter Paris to find a Greek boyfriend, Nicki is still offering her styling skills to anyone who is in need of a little volume in the hair department and the ever escaping Granny or Yiayia, is up to her old tricks once again. John Stamos and Rita Wilson also make an appearance too.
