Bobbi Kristina passes away after 6 months in coma

The daughter of Whitney Houston was found unconscious in a bath in January.

Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away on Sunday after being in a medically-induced coma for six months.

The aspiring singer was found unconscious in her bath tub in her townhouse in Georgia on January 31st. She was then rushed to Peachtree Christian Hospice where her family and friends stayed by her side until her condition worsened.

Bobbi passed away amongst her family and friends amid confirmation that US officials will be treating her death as a murder case. The first person of interest will be her boyfriend, Nick Gordon.

The family have since released a statement ‘Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.’

Her death comes just three years after her mother, Whitney Houston was found unconscious in a hotel bath in Beverly Hills.
