Dublin Fashion Festival is officially underway

The fash pack took to City Hall to celebrate it’s launch.

DublinTown has teamed up with style queen Pippa O’Connor Ormond to launch the 2015 Dublin Fashion Festival with an evening of fun, fashion and food in City Hall for the city’s leading style commentators, designers and enthusiasts.

The launch of DFF took place last night in City Hall with super bloggers like Suzanne Jackson, Joanne Larby and Ciara O’Doherty all in attendance, as well as all of Dublin and Ireland’s most stylish men and women.

Taking place from Monday 7th September until Sunday 13th September, Dublin Fashion Festival will see over 200 retailers, restaurants, bars and hotels taking part in one of the city centre’s liveliest events. Following in the footsteps of Irish stars such as Laura Whitmore, Angela Scanlon and Amanda Byram, as face of the festival Pippa will officially launch this year’s event, as well as hosting a live fashion show on Friday 11th September, 2015.

Speaking of her involvement in the festival, Pippa commented: “I’m delighted to be working with DublinTown on this year’s Dublin Fashion Festival. Being the face of the Festival is an honour and is something I wanted to do for couple of years now, I’m so excited to have been asked and to be a part of Dublin Fashion Festival 2015.” she said.

“I have always championed Irish style and I love the charm and energy of Dublin fashion. Nothing compares to shopping in the capital there’s always something different to see and experience so I’m really looking forward to what the festival has in store, I’ve no doubt that it will be a fantastic week”.
This year, we can expect on-street fashion shows on Grafton Street and Henry Street, night-time extravaganzas, exciting in-store events, exhibitions, stylathons, and much, much more.
