The Irish have spoken and McDonald’s have listened! Behold, the McMór

As much as we love the way a Double Cheeseburger tastes the same everywhere around the world or how comforting a Big Mac is, however bad the hangover, we were always lingering for something a bit more Irish from McDonalds.

Miccy d’s has no delivered in the form of this truly amazing looking limited edition Irish artisan burger – the McMór. For the first time ever a McDonald’s burger will include two national favourites, rich vibrant Ballymaloe Relish and carefully matured and creamy Charleville Cheddar Cheese, combining to give the McMór a truly authentic Irish taste. The McMór will be available in all 88 McDonald’s restaurants across Ireland from Wednesday, 2nd September for a six week period only- if ever there was an excuse to get to McDonalds.

Commenting on the launch of the McMór, Stephen Macken, Innovation Chef at Kerry said: “We at Kerry are absolutely delighted that Charleville is the first Irish cheese producer to develop a partnership with McDonald’s in Ireland. Having worked as part of the McDonald’s Chefs Council for 15 months to create the perfect Irish artisan burger, I’m very proud of the end result and I’m confident it will be a hit with McDonald’s customers!”.

Oh hell yes, it’ll definitely be a hit if we have anything to do with it.
