Prince George is “excited” about his new sister

He stole the show on Saturday when he arrived at the hospital with Prince William (he melted our hearts when he waved to the cameras) to visit his little sister, and now Prince George is loving being an older brother.
A family friend told a US magazine: “George was very excited to meet his sister. George was aware that he would soon have a new brother or sister and has been excited throughout the pregnancy. He might have been a little shy around the new baby, but I heard everything went well. He’s great around other children. He’s a very curious boy.” The cuteness.
Prince George was later followed by Kate’s family – her parents and sister Pippa – and Prince William’s family – his dad and Camilla – all eager to meet baby Charlotte, along with well wishes from all around the world.
The source added: “The Palace was inundated by flowers and gifts from around the world, many from members of the public and others from important figures and officials they have met over the years.”
And Prince Charles is thrilled with the new addition to his family. The source said: “He is over the moon about having a granddaughter. He’s a very proud man at the moment. He was convinced all along that it would be a girl.”
Prince George isn’t the only one adjusting to the new baby – so too are his parents! “They are a lot more calm this time. I remember when George was brought back after he was born and they were so nervous. But the second time they feel relaxed and are able to take in and enjoy these first moments at home with the baby,” the source added.
