Taylor Swift has introduced her newborn godchild to the world in a series of adorable snaps – and we’ve never been so jealous of a baby.

Tay Tay may be busy travelling the globe with her 1989 Tour, but because Ms Swift is the most thoughtful, and all-round awesome, girl in pop (seriously, please be our BFF), she took time out to meet her godson Leo Thames Newman for the first time this week.

The gorgeous tot was born on July 19, but the Bad Blood singer had to wait until she had a seven-day break from her top tour to swing by and check in on her bestie Jamie King (Envious? Us? Never!) and godson Leo.

The pop princess shared the absolutely adorbs snaps of their first meet-and-greet on her Instagram page on Tuesday – and they have seriously jump-started our ovaries. One picture showed the American songstress gazing at the sleeping tot while Jamie looked on smiling, tagging it: “Meeting my boy”.

And Jamie (36) shared the same image of the 25-year-old holding cute-as-a-button Leo, captioning it: “My loves meet. Baby boy Leo Thames and his God Mother = Bliss. X”.

A second, heart-melting image shows little Leo’s tiny hands wrapped around her finger, writing lyrics from her song Never Grow Up alongside: “Your little hand’s wrapped around my finger and it’s so quiet in the world tonight…”

It HAS to be exhausting being that sweet all the time!

Taylor was announced as the godmother back in March and she was clearly super excited, sharing with her followers on Instagram: “Guess who just got named Godmother of this little one… (ME).” With a picture of Tay and her pregnant pal Jamie.

We’re glad to see Tay’s taking her duties seriously – not that we ever doubted her. And we’ve got a feeling little Leo’s going to have some fun times ahead with his fairy godmother.
