Ahead of her star turn as a judge on TV3’s Ireland’s Got Talent, we caught up with Denise Van Outen to discover all of the things she can’t live without. Here to launch the latest Bellamianta luxury Christmas sets, Denise sat down and shared all her favourite things with us.
We can thank Craig David for this one... Unless you were hiding under a rock this week and wallowing in the despair of being back to work, then chances are you were as excited as us when you heard Craig David making his comeback with his own belieber rendition. He took us right back to our late teens when we taped '7 days' straight off the radio and we thought he was dreamy. Now he's only gone and changed Justin Beeb's 'Love Yourself' into a proper Craig David remix and it was DEADLY! But his return has only got us thinking about all the other stars we wish would make a comeback too and we've lost the run of ourselves a bit. So we've narrowed them down and hope you agree. If we've missed anyone crucial, let us know! (And if you missed Craig's cover, fear not as we have it below for your perusal. Trust us, you'll be listening to it over the entire weekend.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23wj7iXnYnA Here are our comeback wishes... The Spice Girls. They were just the coolest gang of girls ever and as much as we love Little Mix and miss The Saturdays, no band will ever have a patch on the Spice Girls. They'll live on forever in our hearts and if they could make a comeback and visit the Three Arena sometime this year, that would work out quite nicely. Just putting the thought out there. While we're on the subject of girl groups, All Saints were a pretty decent bunch that we'd also love to see reunite. 'Never Ever' is going to be stuck in our heads all day now. We've felt incomplete without these boys in our lives over the last number of years and we wish they'd quit playing games with our hearts and just make the call announcing that Backstreets Back already. But as long as we love them we know deep down they're never gone. Yes, we just did that. Sorry, too tempting! Pink, where are you? If anyone is bound to make a comeback, it's going to be Pink. She's not really gone but she's not around either. We hope she's working on some angry, shouty album that we can introduce to our lives. Frank Sinatra. We know this one isn't possible, but we didn't say it had to be realistic. Brandy. She was super cool and we hope if she does come back, she does another duet with Monica. We're not sure it would be quite the same otherwise. Chesney Hawkes. 'The One and Only' was one of our faves and we would literally die if Ches decided to come back with a greatest hits concert.
Is Dean Strang a ride? Making a Murderer's Dean Strang has set the U office a flutter as we try to decide whether or not he's a ride. With that in mind, here's our other 10 weird celebrity crushes Will Ferrell We'd p!ss ourselves laughing all the time, and isn't that the way to our hearts? Plus, anyway with as little body shame could only be a good influence. Will, we heart you! Bill Murray He's just sh!t cool. End of. Data from Star Trek Everyone else fancied Riker, we always had a soft spot for Data. Plus he loves animals. Simba He's a handsome lion OK? Tony Soprano He'd show us who's boss and understand our great love affair with jewellery. Peter Dinklage Game of Thrones, that's all. Ray D'Arcy He was our first celeb crush from his days in The Den so we'll always have a soft spot for Ray. Ryan Tubridy He's clever, articulate and can manage a studio of rowdy children which is more than we can do. Gordon Ramsay F!ck knows. Louis Theroux He's handsome in an understated way and would broaden our horizons away from reality TV. Sir Alan Sugar It's not just about the money, promise! Simon Cowell It's the wink. Michael Cera We want him to be our boyfriend.
This pair were made for each other!
This uber-flattering look doesn't just have to be shunned to your casual closet! Understandably, when you think of cardigans you think of casual wear. Throwing a cardigan over a top and jeans for a dressed-down Saturday. Or popping a cardi over your work clothes when it hits 4 o'clock and you're getting yourself geared up to get out of there! There's no denying that with a cardigan comes much comfort. But here in UFashion.ie, we think a cardigan can offer a lot more than comfort and warmth to your everyday outfit, particularly a waterfall style one. Asymmetrical hems and uneven cuts are huge for Spring/Summer '15 and that doesn't just mean for the hemline of a dress or skirt.
