The winter chills may not be fully shaken off just yet but we're getting there It may be the first week of March but in the true spirit of Irish weather, it's still absolutely feckin' baltic out there. Snow, rain and hail are still the order of the day and we cannot wait to rid ourselves of this permanent cold and permanent wet socks/hair/coats. Spring may technically be upon us but us Irish gals know that the winter-spring transition process can last from anywhere between two weeks and five months. With this unpredictable timing of when spring will actually be upon us, UFashion.ie has a few recommendations for a quick and easy way to get yourself spring ready (while not becoming a victim of frostbite that is!).
#1- A bright coloured cosy knit
Winter is all about cosy knits, but spring is the season of bright knits. If there's one sure fire wire to inject a bit of spring sunshine into your life ('cause you're not gonna get it outside!), it's with a brightly coloured jumper. Pair with a pair of jeans for a comfortable Saturday shopping outfit.

#2- A classic floral dress
We don't think this one needs too much explaining. One thing that we can be sure is in a spring's hot list is a floral dress. This year it's all about the tea dress. We love this charcoal one as you can pair it with some black opaques until the sun starts a-shining!

#3 A pair of bright jeans.
Yep, we said it ladies. It may be time to let go of your black skinnies for the time being! Of course black jeans are an acceptable (and vital) wardrobe essential all-year round but at this time of year it's great to opt for something a bit brighter. Ease yourself into bright jeans with these indigo ones.

#4- A winter-come spring bomber jacket
This maryl grey biker jacket is the perfect in-between jacket to ease you from wearing your massive padded parka into wearing a slinky kimono for summer. One of the things we love about bombers is that they are so versatile. Wear this day or night, with jeans, skirts or dresses.

#5- Heeled Boots
Still not ready to make the jump from boots to slinky sandals just yet? No problem (we aren't either!). Pop on a chunky heel for style points + comfort points. You can thank us later.
