There's no doubt about it: the beauty world is changing - and about time too. People of different shapes, sizes and skin tones are now being featured in big brand campaigns and Benefit is flying the diversity flag in its new campaign.

One of its new brand ambassadors is from County Tyrone in Northern Ireland. Twenty-year-old Kate, who has Down Syndrome, was spotted on Facebook by the brand last year. She had been posting on social media about her ambitions of becoming a model and Benefit got her on board for its latest launch, Roller Liner Eyeliner.

Kate is one of a number of new faces in the campaign, which features the Benefit Wing Women (all with epic liner flicks, unsurprisingly). Check out the behind-the-scenes below.

Last year saw an increase in the kind of beauty that was represented in the media and on our shelves. With brands like Rihanna's Fenty Beauty catering for all sorts of skin tones - and dropping 50 new concealer shades this month - and plus size models reaching the mainstream in campaigns by Isle of Paradise and Pretty Little Thing, diversity is out there. And it's only going to get better.
