The 80\'s called, they want their sleeves back.

The 80's called, they want their sleeves back.

It's super flattering!

Let's face it, fashion in 2018 was rather questionable. With bum bags replacing handbags and dad runners becoming hot...we found ourselves second-guessing our fashion buys quite a lot last year. But so far, 2019 is shaping up to be quite the fashionable year.

Neon, fringe and tie-dye are all making a comeback for 2019 and we are thrilled but the vintage trend we have our hearts set on is the puffer sleeve. Now before you have a mini heart attack thinking we're asking you to release your inner Debbie from Napoleon Dynamite, take a deep breath and keep scrolling.

It's time say farewell to all those Bardot sleeves you effortlessly rocked this year and instead welcome in the puff sleeve. 2019 is making the puffed-up sleeve chic by combining it with a square or sweetheart neckline.

Still not convinced? Well, that very sleeve/neckline was all over the SS'19 catwalks with Saint Laurent, Mara Hoffman and Preen by Thornton Bregazzi all debuting their take on the original 1980's trend.

Let us guess, you're still unsure. How about if we told you that all your favourite celebrities and fashion gurus are already rocking this trend? Kendall Jenner combined her love for neon with a puff sleeve for her NYE outfit. Margot Robbie was ahead of the curve when she rocked the trend back in 2017 for the Christopher Robin premiere and our girl crush every day (Lucy Williams) showed us exactly how to pull off the puff.
