And for today's instalment of what Meghan Markle wore...
Meghan Markle was easily one of the best-dressed ladies of 2018 and if her latest royal appearance is anything to go by, she's coming for that title once again. She attended her first royal engagement of the year wearing a black dress, a modern take on the camel coat she's made iconic and cow print heels. Yes, you read that correctly. Meghan Markle is making cow print fashion.
The Duchess of Sussex went to visit one of the charities she will be working this year, Smart Works which teaches unemployed women how to land their dream jobs by providing them with interview skills and appropriate clothing.
Meghan certainly dressed for the occasion as she sported a maternity dress from HATCH, an Oscar de la Renta trench coat, a box bag by Victoria Beckham and earrings by Kimai. But the one part of the Duchess' outfit that has us in a fashion frenzy are those Gianvito Rossi heels.
Not only do the heels feature a cow print, but the sides were transparent. While we were in shock that the Duchess rocked the animal print like us mere mortals, we weren't all that surprised. Gianvito Rossi is a designer she wears on a regular basis and we for one are living for a shoe that isn't just another suede pump.
The western and animal print trend were both huge in 2018 and it's looking like they're both here to stay for 2019.
You heard it here first: cow print is the new leopard.
