'Harry' and 'Potter' are two words that make up a pretty loaded movie question, depending on the audience it's put to. But for die hard fans of the Boy Wizard, there is nothing more exciting than the thought of setting up camp and watching the magic marathon unfold back-to-back. So, imagine then, doing so at Halloween and outdoors?
Well that's just what Retro Drive-In Movies are organising, as it has just been announced that a Harry Potter marathon will be screened at Leopardstown Racecourse throughout the October Bank Holiday weekend, with the promise of food, ice cream, wands, costumes and lots of mischief on site.
**BREAKING NEWS** This Halloween at Leopardstown Racecourse, experience the Magic of Drive-in Movies at our HARRY...Posted by Retro Drive-in Movies on Tuesday, 7 August 2018
According to their FB page, the movies being shown will be the first three editions of the series: Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone, Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets and Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban.
Good news too though, for those slightly less enthused with world of male wizards and more so with witches' covens instead, the team at Retro Drive-In Movies have assured us that the Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus is on the billing too.
Sorry but the Salem sisters will always get out vote. Tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am here.
