What secret are you serving?
By now, you've probably seen all the looks from last night's Golden Globes and you're undoubtedly obsessing over Gaga's lavender/blue/purple number.
This isn't Lady Gaga's first Golden Globes rodeo but we're certain it will go down as one of her very best red carpet looks. If you look up 'lewk' in the dictionary, you're going to see a picture of this:
Unless you've been living under a rock for 2018, you'll know that Lady Gaga attended the Golden Globes this year after receiving multiple nominations for her role in A Star Is Born. (You know that film that broke you into a million pieces?)
While Gaga may have already picked up an award for Best Original Song, in our eyes, she won the red carpet too. Just look, at that pretty, pastel, and lavender x blue hue. Everything about this outfit is perfect and the fact she dyed her hair to match the Valentino gown made our jaws hit the floor.
But what makes her look that extra bit special is that the dress is actually a reference to the gown Judy Garland wore in the 1954 remake of A Star Is Born.
"Last year was such a tumultuous year for so many things,” explains Saltzman, citing everything from political tumult to climate change. “There was a lot of negativity, and I kept trying to find the positive.”
"I just said, 'I'd like a silver lining'"
Hence the metallic hue in the Gucci gown.
Now if you'll excuse us, we're going to come with a creative hidden message for our jumper and jeans look this morning.
