After six long months of wearing them, it’s time to let go…

Black jeans are nearly every girl’s best friend. They go with absolutely everything and can be worn to pretty much every occasion under the sun (unless there literally is sun, in that case you’ll be sweating profusely in them!). From throwing them on-for the third day in a row- with a neat blouse for work, or sporting your highest stilettos and sparkliest top for a big night out, black jeans are crucial for a versatile and effortlessly cool wardrobe.

And as much as us UFashion ladies love them too, we know that there is a time and a place for these black beauties. And that time is no more!

Of course we will always turn to them for appropriate occasions and you sure as hell can’t sport a monochrome outfit down the local without a pair of black jeans, but now that spring is upon us, we’re looking elsewhere for our jeanspiration.

Pastels, acid washes and vibrant blues, pinks and greens are what spring is all about, in terms of jeans-wearing of course. Nothing makes us feel more summery than throwing on a bright pair of jeans with recently-bleached-to-death converse.

Or what about for those spring occasions where its just to cold to wear a skirt but not cold enough to turn up in a morbidly-black outfit? Confirmations, BBQ’s and outdoor parties ringing any bells?

Coloured jeans are the first place to turn to for any of the previously mentioned occasions. Here in UFashion.ie, we’ve rounded up four of our favourite jeans on site right now to make transitioning out of your black skinnies into bright ones that bit easier.

We’re especially loving the blue acid rinse skinnies. We’re thinking Hunter wellies and a cute T for festival season, what do you guys think?
