Do you fancy going glam for a good cause this weekend? Head to Hats, Heels and High Tea in aid of Rosabel’s Rooms at the g Hotel, Galway.
This special millinery-themed afternoon tea on Sunday 25 March 2018 is to raise funds for newly founded charity, Rosabel’s Rooms. It was set up at the start of this year by Gary Monroe and Suzanne McClean, in collaboration with The Irish Hospice Foundation, following the sudden and unexplained death of their sixteen-month-old daughter, Rosabel.
The event will raise funds for dedicated family-focused bereavement suites in hospitals around Ireland. University Hospital Galway have already committed to setting up the very first Rosabel’s Room, with hopefully more to follow.
Sunday’s event kicks off at 2pm in the famous – and very glam – g Hotel. Tickets are €50 and for that you’ll get a glass of Prosecco on arrival, a mini millinery masterclass from top Galway milliners, Caithriona King, Emily Jean, Michael Mullins and Suzie Mahony, and a treat-filled afternoon tea. Eleanor Shanley and friends will be providing the musical entertainment for the afternoon.
There is a prize up for grabs for the table that creates the most impressive millinery masterpiece but there’ll also be a huge raffle on the day. Prizes up for grabs include restaurant vouchers, a family pass for a cruise, tickets tickets to Monday night at the Galway Races Summer Festival and more.
Limited tickets are still available for the event and you can purchase them here.
