All the drama from episode 13, 14 + 15 of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here...
It's officially December which means the party season is in full swing so if you found yourself out on the town this weekend and didn't get a chance to catch up on I'm A Celeb, here's everything you need to know ahead of tonight's episode.
Day 13, Friday Night:
Friday night's episode saw the next instalment of the immunity games. All of the campmates got the chance to fight for the final chance to save themselves from the public vote. Each of the four teams battled against each other by downing disgusting smoothies in 'Rancid Races' in order to win not only immunity but food too. Going into the race, Team Galahs (Nick, Malique & Sair) were in last place but luckily for the Galahs, they had Nick. Nick stormed the challenge as he easily chugged drinks including blended green ants and crocodile anus. Nick wasn't the only one whose efforts are admirable, Noel Edmonds got creative. In an attempt to win back the race, Noel decided to pour more of his drink down himself than his throat. The race finished with the Galahs winning the challenge which secured them immunity and a meal whereas the Underdogs (Noel & Rita) came last meaning they would definitely face the public vote.
So as you've well figured out by now, we're big Harry Redknapp fans here in U HQ so Friday night's episode really shocked us. Harry was less than thrilled by the result of the Rancid Races and decided to take it out on Nick. It was basically a case of sour grapes if you ask us as Harry accused Nick of wanting to win by saying:
"It's a load of cobblers, everyone wants to win, let's not kid ourselves. When the crunch comes, we'll all walk over each other."
We've been craving drama all season long and while it wasn't exactly a fight, it was going there. Who knew Harry was such a sore loser?
Probably the most shocking thing to happen this season, (yes, even more, shocking than Noel entering the camp dressed as a Roman emperor) Noel was evicted from camp. In the first public vote of the season, the viewers at home chose Noel Edmonds to be their first evictee. Despite being sent home by the public, Twitter was less than impressed by his exit - even Liam Gallagher had his say.
There’s only 1 Noel Edmonds as you were LG x— Liam Gallagher (@liamgallagher) November 30, 2018
We've yet to get the hang of this public vote thing, haven't we?— Mike Fatkin (@mikefatkin) November 30, 2018
But before you go feeling all sorry for Noel, he did confirm that the time he had in the jungle was in the top 10 moments of his life. We'll miss you, Noel!
Day 14, Saturday Night:
Saturday's night episode started off by showing us how the camp was coping with the departure of Noel. You'd think the camp would be sad and struggling to adjust but we were shocked by how well the camp was dealing with losing a celebrity. All eyes on you Nick Knowles. About 6 seconds after Noel was evicted from camp, the celebrities began ransacking his stuff. We get it, they're starving and away from luxury but you think they could have at least waited a while before taking Noel's bits. The main culprit was Nick and giving that he's been such a gent all season, this really took us by surprise. But whether or not we agree with the camp's decision to take his stuff so quickly, Dec made light of the situation with some top class punning.
Excellent work Dec, excellent work.
It was then time for the latest Bushtucker trial; 'The Sickening Sewer'. The campmates got to decide who took on this challenge and after pulling straws, (leaves picked by Nick) Sair was chosen to face the sewer. The trial saw Sair climb in and out of tunnels, each filled with critters such as; huntsman spiders, mud crabs, a crocodile, mealworms, cane toads, rats and tonnes of other creepy insects in order to win stars. Sair (here it comes) smashed the trial as she won 10 out of a possible 10 stars.
Nick was finally released from his role as camp leader and the campmates chose James to take his place. James chose Rita to be his advisor meaning the pair then had to decide who does what chores in the camp. Emily got her wish and was made camp chef with Sair; Nick and Anne were put in charge of the fire; Malique and Sair were now in charge of cleaning out the dunny; Harry has to wash up for the first time in 54 years and John is head of camp maintenance.
But the real highlight of Saturday's show? This shot right here. You're so welcome.
Day 15, Sunday night:
Sunday night made us cancel that pizza we had ordered, seriously. Last night saw Fleur take on the latest bushtucker trial - 'Gore Seasons Pizza'. Fleur had to lie on a giant pizza base while rotten tomatoes, fish guts, offal, foetid veg and rancid cheese were poured on top of her. Meanwhile, she had to smash open a series of piñatas in order to win stars and just when we thought this challenge couldn't get any worse, tonnes of creepy crawlies were thrown on her too. Despite it being the most stomach-turning trial we've seen so far, Fleur (prepare yourself) smashed the trial. She managed to release all 10 stars meaning everyone in camp would get a meal.
Last night's episode started off by Holly and Dec informing us all that John had been taken out of camp due to an injury. Later on in the episode, we saw exactly what happened. Out for an evening stroll with Harry, John fell down some slippery steps and was screaming in agony. Harry quickly called for the help of his campmates as John twisted his ankle and was unable to get up. He was taken straight to hospital where the good news was that he didn't break anything, it was just a sprain. Just as the show was wrapping up, Dec told us that John in hoping to return to camp in time for tonight's show.
The number of campmates is decreasing rapidly and yet another campmate exited the jungle. Malique was voted off by the public in last night's episode making him the second celebrity to be evicted. The Hollyoaks star was clearly thirsty as he downed his glass of bubbles mid-interview. Malique admitted he was glad to be out of the jungle as he was really struggling with the food situation.
And For Today's Reason Why We Love Harry Redknapp So Much:
We predict there's going to be a Harry Redknapp album coming out anytime soon...
Tune into Virgin Media One at 9 pm tonight to see who will be the next celebrity evicted from the jungle.
