So you're, like, really pretty.
Former child actor and Hollywood party-girl Lindsay Lohan is back, and ready for her close-up.
Following a well-documented rough patch, Lohan has fled her native America and set up shop in Dubai, where she now lives full-time.
The 32-year-old – who most likely featured on a television in your childhood, think Parent Trap, Freaky Friday and Herbie: Fully Loaded – has entered the hospitality business, with three clubs in Greece and an island she’s designing called Lindsay Land.
Now, she’s heading back to her roots and plans to take over our screens once more, in “Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club,” which premiered 8 January.
However, it seems that this new reality show isn't the only thing on her mind. Speaking with Variety, Lohan revealed that a Mean Girls reunion could definitely be on the cards.
"If anyone has asked for this more than I have, please tell me," she said.
"I’ve said it so many times, and so many people have asked me, and I think we’d have so much fun doing it. Tina [Fey] and Lorne [Michaels] are so amazing, and to bring everyone back together would be great. Last time I was in New York, I went up to Lorne, and I was like, “Please!” It’s in their hands."
Lohan previously revealed that she even went as far as to write a treatment for the film in which the characters are "all housewives and they’re all cheating", and pitched it to Fey.
The original cast included Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, Lizzy Caplan, Daniel Franzese, and Tim Meadows. Lohan wants them all to come back.
When asked does she think that everyone would have to come back for a sequel, Lohan replied:
"Yes. I don’t know what else you could do, unless someone is killed off, but that would not be “Mean Girls.” It has to be everyone."
For the naysayers, we felt it was important to mention that a Mean Girls 2 does exist, but – surely it's internationally known – that it's not a patch on the one that made 'fetch' famous.
Let's hope this will get the ball rolling. Now, everyone grab some rubbers.
