Well there goes the summer
It's back, Love Island has once again taken over our summer nights. And here's what happened on night one - we're already hooked.
There's no point trying to contact us between 9 - 10pm anymore, because Love Island is back and we're already obsessed. And we know you are too. However, it is a big commitment so if you miss a night worry not, Suzanne Kane is on hand with her daily updates.
Remember when Dolly Parton sang about Islands and they were blissful and full of love?! We’ll hang onto your bikini strings because Love Island is back and unlike Dolly and her island, the last thing that happens on Love Island is easy going, meandering love affairs.
The next eight weeks are going to be full of love, loss, drama, bitching, muscle twitching and bewitching bed antics. I’m SO EXCITED!
So, what had night one of Love Island brought us?
And who’s with who? Niall was first in and paired with Kendall, Wes was picked by Laura who dropped Alex, Eyal eyed up Hayley, Jack scribbled his interest for Dani, aka the triple D (Danny Dyer's Daughter) and Samira got Dr. Alex from the subs bench.
Oh and the best villa ever. Obvs.
Cosy. Well for about 2 minutes until Adam, the Island adonis strolled in and dropped the bomb he was there to break up one of the new romances and everyone’s a bit uneasy.
So, by the end of night two it was Adam's pick. He said Dani’s was his forbidden fruit, but Laura wanted in on Adam’s apple.
As they all gathered the fire pit, Adam is posed to make his decision, “the girl I want to couple up with is.....”
We find out tonight.
Oh, Love Island, you’re a tease but I loves ya and if all of the above hasn’t sucked you in, there’s Ian Stirling the wordsmith of your summer.
See you tomorrow!
