Or maybe a better seamstress? Just like with her choice in wedding dress, royal fans are left divided over Meghan Markle's outfit for attending the wedding of Princess Diana's niece this weekend.
A short month after stepping out in two bridal gowns on her own wedding day, we'd imagine Meghan Markle was pretty relieved it was someone’s else’s turn to be in the spotlight, when she and Prince Harry attended another royal nuptials on Saturday.
For the happy occasion, the newly weds chose to wear a matchey-matchey summery colour palette (cuties); Prince Harry in a classic coattails, light waistcoat and pale blue tie and The Duchess of Sussex in blue and white floral 'toile du jouy' Oscar de la Renta floor-length wrap dress, which retails at €4.428.
She accessorized the slightly-more-boho-than-usual choice – designed by the same brand that created her mother Doria Ragland's mother-of-the-bride dress – with an M&S fascinator, white clutch bag and her wedding day shoes. (Guess Kate's not the only royal who fashion-recycles then!)
But the #twitteratti have been quick to slate Meghan’s dress choice for Prince Harry's cousin Celia McCorquodale's special day, commenting on how baggy and ill-fitting it seemed – similar to opinion shared on her Givenchy wedding gown.
Twitter is Savage.
But we think social media's reaction to the M&S fascinator is perhaps the best yet....
A tweet defending Meghan's outfit choice, claims she might have done it out of loyalty to the bride...
I'm one of the few that likes the Duchess's choice of dress for the wedding. She's one of those awesome women that will do her best to ensure she doesn't upstage the bride! #duchessofsussex #MeghanMarkle pic.twitter.com/wUlVEN75iP— ♥️ (@LoveRunandPray) June 17, 2018
But if that was the case, our new fave fashion princess, Lady Kitty Spencer held ZERO punches in her head-turning belted floral-print dress, red veiled fascinator and matching heels. Slay on Kitty!
Do you think Meghan needs to sack her stylist? Or was she just happy to let another bride shine on her big day?
