@PawsomeDoctor is the heart-warming account you didn't know you needed in your life.

Dr. Oisín Tracey is the so-called "Irishman down Unda' in Perth" who has, to his shock, found viral fame via Instagram.

Dr. Tracey, better known to his near-50k fans as Pawsome Doctor, is a Veterinarian who specialises in emergency and critical care, while also volunteering with wildlife.

The Dubliner graduated from the UCD Veterinary School in 2016 before heading to the Southern Hemisphere to see what Australia had to offer.

He notes that his Instagram account was originally intended to help him meet people outside of work as he settled in and explored what Perth had to offer.

However the account, which documents his day-to-day life and love for critters of all kind, has grown "far bigger than [he] could have imagined".

Dr. Tracey offers advice on where to go with your pets, non-medical animal-care tips, and musings on his life.

His account consistently brings a smile to our face, whether his uploads revolve around life-saving animal surgery or poignant posts about life as an expat at the other side of the world.

Spring has certainly sprung down under! Busy hospital at @nativeanimalrescueau but I never get tired of examining all the different, beautiful #parrots #Australia has to offer, even if their beaks are strong enough to bite off my finger! . . This guy is 28 parrot (named after their tweet which sounds like they're saying 28!). He was found on the roadside, probably after flying into a car. Thankfully he was fine on physical exam, just a little dazed, so some rest and pain relief for a few days and he should be fit for release! . . . . . . . . #vet #vetlife #vetlyf #vetmed #wildlifevet #veterinary #veterinarian #doctor #vetnurse #vettech #vetstudent #gaylife #gayguy #gayman #gayisokay #instagay #gaydoctor #perth #perthcity #cityofperth #westernaustralia #perthlife #soperth #perthisokay #volunteer #wildlife #animalrescue
