For Pete, we're so thankful.
It has, amazingly, been just over a week since the image of Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson kissing at a Madison Square Garden hockey match broke the internet – despite it feeling like we've never lived without it.
The rumoured couple's relationship has been making headlines internationally, something that 25-year-old Davidson is still coming to terms with.
“Apparently people have a crazy fascination with our age difference,” Davidson explained on SNL regarding the 20-year gap.
“It doesn’t really bother us. But then again, I’m new to this.”
The comedian, who was previously engaged to Ariana Grande and subsequently became the subject of a number of her songs, then went on to reel off a substantial list of famous men who have dated younger women.
“So, if you have questions about a relationship with a big age difference, just ask Leonardo DiCaprio, Jason Statham, Michael Douglas, Richard Gere, Jeff Goldblum, Scott Disick, Dane Cook, Derek Jeter, Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, Tommy Lee, Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn and whoever the president of France is," Davidson told viewers. "Mel Gibson, Billy Joel, Mick Jagger, Sylvester Stallone, Eddie Murphy, Kelsey Grammer. Larry King, Larry King, Larry King, Rod Stewart, and Donald Trump.”
The rumour mill began murmuring that the pair might be dating in February after they were reportedly spotted getting cosy at the Golden Globes after party.
Then came that New York Rangers game.
