Pippa’s top style tips, fashion picks and beauty buys in one place
There’s nothing quite like a summer barbecue. The smell, the sunshine and the eating outdoors! I just love it. Well I don’t like the actual cooking on the barbecue part. I think the men quite like that task anyway... all huddled around it having a beer while wondering are they cooked yet (please don’t poison us!!). What I actually love is the hostessing part, I love friends and family coming over for summer barbecue parties. So with that in mind I went in search for three fabulous outfits that will certainly have you looking like the hostess with the mostess! Bree Van De Kamp eat your heart out! Enjoy! Love, Pippa x
So here are my picks for hosting a summer barbecue...
This super cute yellow and white jacquard playsuit from Warehouse is just so gorgeous. It’s fun, bright and you can still move around comfortably in this while entertaining your guests. I also loved these summery white block heel shoes from Office with it. Perfecto!
Playsuit, €78/NI £60, Warehouse | Shoes, €85/NI £65, Office
This turquoise dress from Topshop was just such a beautiful colour in person I had to include it. It’s so vibrant and pretty. The skater style is very cute and girly. I teamed it with the most comfortable black wedges ever! You will get so much wear out of these too, they’d literally go with everything. A great buy!
Dress, €103/NI £68, Topshop | Wedges, €49.95/NI £39.99, Zara
There’s something very flattering and sexy about this style of top from River Island. It gives you a beautiful neck line. I thought it was perfect with this little summer skirt from River Island too. Again the colours are bright and perfect for summer. I teamed it with these very comfy white heels from Topshop, after all you’ll have to be able to still run around for your guests!
Top, €22/NI £16, River Island | Skirt, €33/NI £25, River Island | Shoes, €91/NI £60, Topshop
They’re Real Push-up Liner, €25, Benefit

I love the look of gel eyeliner and the little flick but I’m not very good at achieving this look on myself. I’ve tried tons of different ones over the years that haven’t really been that easy to use unless you’re a pro! That all changed when I tried this latest magic gel liner in a pen from Benefit. They’re Real Push Up Liner has taken years to develop and it’s been worth it. It’s the easiest, most effective gel liner I’ve ever used. You will love it I promise! It’s €25, available from July.
