We’ve rounded up the best of what Irish style has to offer for some fashion insider info.
Irish ladies. Not only are we wonderfully witty, brilliantly charming and absolutely feckin' gas craic altogether, but we are stunningly stylish too (so we like to say anyway!). And one of these stunningly stylish Irish ladies is New York-based Erika Fox, instantly recognizable by her enviously voluminous red hair and her elegant style.
Erika is one of Ireland's leading fashion bloggers and her style CV includes working with the likes of Olivia Palermo and Whitney Port (The City fans be jealous. Be very jealous!). Not only that but she has worked in refinery29.com, has attended more fashion weeks than Anna Wintour herself (well, that might not be true), and consistently looks like she's step off the front page of Vogue. Jealous? Us? Never. Fox is unstoppable so it seems. But not that unstoppable that we couldn't sit her down for a quick chat about her blog, her life, her style loves and loathes and that one item that she can't stop cringing at. She's also taken a look at UFashion.ie and picked out her fave items for Spring/Summer '15. Check it out! What is your favourite thing about being a blogger? I just love having something that I'm genuinely so passionate about. Being a blogger is literally a 24/7 type of job but it's such a rewarding process. The best thing about the whole experience so far is the people I've met through Retro Flame. What trends are you must excited about for Spring/Summer? To be honest, I just can't wait to not have to wear a million layers. NYC Winters are challenging, to say the least! I'm excited for lots of fringing, denim & prints.
What/Who inspires your style? New York definitely provides a lot of inspiration for me right now. I've just started a new job and I'm finding that my style is now becoming very understated & 'grown up'. What is the cringiest fashion mistake you've ever made?
