Kitsch and Marmite-like, animal table lamps are everywhere right now and we're not sure how we feel about them. But does this mean animal lamps are a thing now?

Lamps, prints and throws are a renters saviour when it comes to turning a houseshare into a home. And the current trend for animal table lamps has divided U HQ. Some of us love, some of us loath, but there's no denying that animal lamps are here to stay.

So how do you shop? With care! Let's be honest, these are a flash in the pan obsession so unless you're Rockefeller best to err on the budget side. Which means no matter how much we love the Matthew Williamson ostrich light, we won't be dropping a few grand on it any time soon!

So instead here's four budget buys tat are fun, kitsch and not going to break the bank.

Raven lamp, €140, Abigail Ahern @ Debenhams

Flamingo lamp, €150, Audenza

Stag table lamp, €67, M&S

Mouse lamp, €69, April And The Bear
