Dogs >>> f*ckboys.
If you're anything like us, you're sick and tired of wasting your life swiping on Tinder and never getting positive results. You've heard magical tales of women swiping right and meeting the love of their life that they've now been married to for four years. But the only people you seem to meet are f*ckboys who have no interest in anything other than well, y'know.
Well, there's a new app in town and it's pretty damn perfect. Let us introduce you to GetPet, the tinder-like app that helps dog lovers meet their new furry friend. The technology was designed by Vaidas Gecevicius and helps match shelter dogs with potential new owners. GetPet has launched just over a month ago and already receives hundreds of new users daily. Speaking about the app, Gecevicius said:
"It is like Tinder, but with dogs where you can arrange a meeting with the dog - a date."
Similar to Tinder, users of the app get to view the profiles of furry creatures and swipe right on those who capture their heart. If the shelter thinks you would be a good a fit for the dog, you match and arrange a date where you get to meet your potential pet. If you swipe left (as if that would happen, we want all the dogs) another dog profile appears.
The app currently only features dogs for now but the app plans to eventually include cats and other animals.
Sure, you'll still be single at the end of it but hey, you'll be a hell of a lot less lonely.
