In an online survey of over 680 people, found that River Island (20%) has come out on top as the Irish woman’s favouriet retailer, closely followed by Missguided (18%) and Boohoo (12%), with 64%of them spending between €50- €­100 on clothes online every month.
Furthermore, the shopping website discovered some surprising facts about Irish women’s beauty and skincare routines, finding that No7 (16%), Benefit (13%) and Bourjois (10%) are their favourite beauty brands.
As for tanning? It comes as no surprise that Irish women love a faux glow and supporting Irish too. Cocoa Brown (34%) came out on top as Irish women’s favourite tanning brand, closely followed by St. Tropez (24%) and Rimmel (17%).
When it comes to seeking out style inspiration, it seems Kim K might not be as influential as once thought. 58% of women look to their friends for inspiration, while 27% are inspired by street style and only 14% checking out celebrities for their style advice.
Finally, Instagram may be great for pictures of coffee and kale but for style advice, 54% of people use Facebook to read about, see or keep up to date with the people that inspire them, while only 32% use Instagram. ­Yep, really!
