Once upon a time, I was falling in love, now I'm only falling apart.
On January 21, between the hours of 2:30 am and 5:12 am, something called a Super Blood Wolf Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse will take place. If you're anything like us (up until an hour ago) and are utterly clueless when it comes to astrology, it basically means that while the sun is in Aquarius, the moon is in Leo which therefore creates an eclipse.
While the blood moon will be a captivating experience to witness, it actually brings a wave of negative energy that could result in a breakup.
Since February 2017, there has been a constant cycle of eclipses through the signs of Leo and Aquarius. Eclipses always happen in pairs, usually between opposite star signs. Eclipses are generally themed. This current series of eclipses revolves around you vs. those you surround yourself with.
The first of nine eclipses happened in February 2017 and it brought drama and confusion to your relationships. During this first eclipse, you began to realise that the relationship you were in, be it romantic or platonic, was toxic and it was time to change this. Then came the second eclipse of the cycle which took place in August of that year and the moon had you questioning your sense of self.
Fast forward to January of 2018, the next set of eclipses. These focused on your private self vs. your public self. You became aware of the restrictions you force on yourself in order to please others and the eclipse encouraged you to accept yourself and stay true to who you are, no matter who's around. The summer of 2018 brought the next instalment of eclipses which shed a light on your true feelings of those around you and you ultimately were left with the decision as to whether or not your friends/partner was right for you.
The Super Blood Wolf Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse (try saying that five times fast!), is the final eclipse in this nine-part series. This time, the moon is coming to spill all the tea as it will expose hidden secrets and cut all your ties with toxic relationships. The eclipse is asking you to reflect on how your relationships have changed over the past two years. If you're still ignoring the fact that your boyfriend/best friend has been nothing other than poisonous to you the past two years, then the blood moon is here to give a rather brutal wakeup call.
However, it's not all bad news. If each and every relationship you're in is healthy and enables you to be your true self, then the blood moon is going to reward you as your bond will only be strengthened. If you're recently single as a result of these set of eclipses, this final blood moon could bring some new romance to your life. There's an extremely high possibility that you'll experience some eye-opening encounters like realising you have feelings for an unlikely match or someone close to you will confess their love to you. Should Cupid come your way, be patient. The effects of this cycle are still waning.
Be sure to set your alarms for the early hours of Monday morning as this will be the last opportunity to view a partial lunar eclipse from Ireland for three-and-a-half years, until 16 May 2022.
