Last year we lost for it millennial pink, this year everything from wine to eyeshadow is getting a dose of the blues. Yup, it's time to say goodbye to millennial pink and hello Gen Z Blue.
We knew Gen Z Blue was a thing when French businessman René Le Bail developed a blue wine. Seriously. Technically it tastes like Chardonnay but gets its blue colour from being put through a pulp of red grape skin, a pigment in which turns the wine blue. Called Vindigo, social media users have lost their minds for it. And it's easy to see why. This stuff is Insta Gold. Or blue!
Orders have already been received from all over the world so we're confident the wine will land here soon. Which got us thinking about how blue is definitely the colour of now.
Don't believe us?
Then will you believe Topshop, NARS and Kurt Geiger?
This dress is set to go the way of that pinafore dress so move fast.
When NARS released NARS x ERDEM earlier this year we lost it for the eyeshadow palette that contained Sprung, the blue eyeshadow we couldn't get enough of. And now we're moving on to next level pigment with this eye paint in bright blue.
Over the knee boots are going nowhere for AW but instead of boring black, spice them up with a bright metallic. Imagine these peaking out from under a midi dress?
Oh hells yes!
